Hi everyone, hope you all are doing fantastic and enjoying my !! Here I am today with another review, as you know from the tittle, it is The Blushed Nudes eyeshadow palette from Maybelline. The thing I like about Maybelline is that it is always launching new products, while not all are great but surely worth a try and pretty affordable too.
So last year Maybelline launched its The Nudes palette, which has all the essential nude colors that suit Indian skin tone well and now its has launched The Blushed Nudes palette which is more of a pink toned nude colors.

Packaging :

This has a similar packaging as the original nudes palette, rectangular pink plastic box with a transparent window on top through which all colors are visible. It comes with a dual ended brush which has a sponge tip applicator on one end and a small pencil type brush on the other end, which is a welcome change than those dual ended sponge tip applicators. I just wish that there was a mirror in the palette to complete it.

Price :

It retails for INR 899, same as the original nudes. You can get it or like me buy it from any maybelline kiosk.

My Review :

This is a cool toned palette with an inclination towards pink tones, a really nice concept to have some of pinkish nudes in a single palette. Now even though the colors seem cool tone they will suit Indian skin tone quite well because I have used it a few times and so has my sister, we are both fine with it. To be very honest I was hoping for a lot better than it actually is, it has 3 matte shades and rest all are shimmery/pearl finish which is not a bad thing, but what puts me off a bit is the pigmentation. There is no consistency in color payoff, some of the colors are nicely pigmented but others not so much, for some colors you really have to put quite an effort for the color to show. But on the other hand people who do not like bold looks or people who just prefer sheer or nude eye look with just a hint of color this is a good palette. Few colors can also be used as a highlighter. So lastly I just want to say that it is not one of the best palette out there for this price it could have been a bit better.

That is all for this post,
Stay tuned...till next time,
Take Care.
